Refund Policy


The refund policy for return of books is the same as tuition refund policy deadlines as set by the institution.

Books purchased at the beginning of the semester can be returned for a full refund during the first seven (7) days of the start of the semester with the original receipt and a drop class slip. The following conditions must be met on all textbook returns:

New textbooks must be in original "new" condition (original shrink-wrap, with CDs unopened, free of markings, etc.). New textbooks returned in used condition may be refunded at the used price at the discretion of the bookstore if the book will be used in subsequent semesters
Codes must be unopened. Activated codes are nonreturnable
Nonreturnable items include clearance merchandise, software, and computer supplies
Credit card refunds require original receipt AND the credit card from which the charges occurred. Textbooks purchased through student accounts receivable systems must be refunded in the same manner. Credits for book returns will be processed through the business office. Please allow 7-10 days for credit to apply to your account or for a check to be issued.

Digital Textbooks 

We understand that customers may want to return a digital book for a refund because of various reasons. Because there is no physical product, digital books may not be returned to the bookstore once the title is activated. This means refunds are not available for activated digital books. Please contact the bookstore if you need assistance with any technical difficulties related to your digital book order. We will replace the digital book file if you encounter technical problems during the download.

General Merchandise 

The General merchandise may be returned for a full refund withing seven (7) days of purchase accompanied by the original cash register receipt. Merchandise must be in "new" condition with all tags and packaging. No refunds will be made for study guides, general books, electronics, software, or clearance merchandise.
