What is a section number?
Course section numbers are typically 5 digits (12345)and listed on campus connection.
What is my student ID number? Is it the same as my financial aid number?
Your student ID number and financial aid number are the same. It is the 7-digit number on your schedule and your LRSC issued ID. E.g. 0123456.
Can I use my financial aid to order online?
Student account charging begins one week prior to the start of the term. You will be able to select Student Account Charge as a payment option during check out. The following criteria must be met to charge against your student account:
- You must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credits) with LRSC at time of charging, and
- You must be degree-seeking with Lake Region State College.
Students who have a financial or academic 'hold' on their account may not charge to their student account until that hold is lifted.
Can I call the LRSC Bookstore to order textbooks?
No, unfortunately, we are unable to process orders over the phone. All orders need to go through our LRSC Bookstore online. However, you can call us during our business hours or email us at anytime and we can assist you with the buying process.
I selected USED as my "NEW/USED Preference", but my total cost is for all NEW books. Did I do something wrong?
The total cost is ALWAYS based on new books, no matter your preference. This is because our new and used textbook selection is limited and always changing (buying needs are evaluated daily in addition to semester buyback). The new textbook price is the most you will have to pay, if used is available, it will be shipped and the charge processed against your credit card will reflect the difference.
Do I need to create a LRSC Store account before ordering textbooks or merchandise?
If this is your first time ordering click "Register Here" during checkout. New customers must setup an account before purchasing online. Any login or password information provided to you by LRSC for your email account will NOT work; this is a separate shopping email and password.
How quickly are web orders processed?
Allow 1 to 3 business days for order processing. Shipping times will depend on your location.
What are the shipping options?
UPS Ground is used for most orders; FedEx and USPS may be used if it will be quicker or less expensive, depending on the location. The shipping cost is a flat fee of $11.95 to the continental United States. Locations outside of the continental United States (including HI & AK) are subject to additional shipping and handling fees. UPS Ground shipping delivers to the lower 48 states in two to seven business days. Orders to PO Boxes or APO/FPO military addresses will be delivered by US Postal Service unless no USPS address is provided. International shipping is available. How do I cancel a web order?
Web orders are best cancelled by calling the LRSC Bookstore at 701.662.1539 and leaving your name, order number and the items you wish to delete. You can also send this information to firstname.lastname@example.org. If your order has already been processed, we are unable to cancel it. You will have to accept the order and pay the shipping to return it.
How do I check order status?
Check order status and view or modify your secure online account by first clicking "My Account".
How do I return a purchased web order?
Prior approval must be given for all returns. Your return request must be made in writing via email to email@example.com. Phone approval may be given under certain circumstances. Once approval has been received, you can return them yourself to the LRSC Bookstore located in the Student Union on the Devils Lake campus.
